Support the planning department by coordinating national and international transport assignments and communicating with drivers and customers. Ensure all administrative documentation is accurate and maintain contact regarding loading and unloading times.
Requires an MBO level of education or equivalent experience with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Candidates should be flexible, have an affinity for IT systems, and possess their own transportation.
Onze vacature: Assistent Transport Planner
Geen dag is hetzelfde in onze dynamische, logistieke wereld! Dat merk je in deze afwisselende functie. Samen met het team van de Planning ben je verantwoordelijk voor het kostenbewust plannen van de nationale en internationale transportopdrachten van onze klanten. Je werkt nauw samen met de afdeling Operational Support die de opdrachten aannemen en op een voorlopige agenda zetten. Je controleert of alle benodigde informatie aanwezig is en vult ontbrekende zaken aan. Daarna maak jij samen met de planners de planning, rekening houdend met de inzet van het wagenpark, personeel en de deadlines, definitief.
Tijdens de ritten houd je contact met de chauffeurs via o.a. de boordcomputer. Je communiceert met in- en externe klanten, dienstverleners en/of andere relevante instanties en derden over het vertrek of de aankomst van een transport of laad- en lostijden.
Administratief zorg jij dat alles op orde is zodat jouw collega’s van de Planning en Facturatie het stokje over kunnen nemen.
Dit alles doe je vanuit ons kantoor in Botlek-Rotterdam op werkdagen tussen 07.00 – 18.30 uur.
Het is belangrijk dat je goed kan communiceren in het Nederlands en Engels. En beheers je de Duitse taal, dan is dat zeker een pré.
Voor het uitvoeren van de functie heb je jouw kennis en vooral jouw enthousiasme nodig! Je bent een echte teamplayer die zich niet snel uit het veld laat slaan.
En ben je leergierig en wil je jezelf ontwikkelen tot een allround planner, dan kan dat bij ons.

Het salaris in de salarisschaal start bij € 3.359,36 bruto per maand (fulltime) maar loopt op aan de hand van jouw kennis en ervaring.
Verder ontvang jij een bijdrage in de reiskosten en een mooie pensioenregeling conform de CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer. Voor kantoorpersoneel hebben wij nog een aanvullende arbeidsvoorwaardenregeling.
