The Billing Specialist will prepare, issue, and maintain accurate client invoices while managing project portfolios and contract terms. They will also track unbilled work-in-progress, process vendor payments, and prepare financial reports to support cash flow monitoring.
Candidates should have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 to 3 years of relevant billing or project accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with project-based accounting software like Deltek Vantagepoint are strongly preferred.

We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is based in Minneapolis or Phoenix with hybrid flexibility, and we're open to remote candidates. You'll prepare, issue, and maintain accurate client invoices across an active project portfolio, translating contract terms and PM billing instructions into client-ready invoices across fixed fee, hourly/T&M, percent complete, and milestone structures. You'll also track unbilled WIP, apply approved rates and markups, and support AR follow-up to keep revenue billed and tracked against budget.
