We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact for our agency. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and support administrative functions to ensure a welcoming and efficient workplace. This position plays a critical role in creating a trauma-informed, welcoming, and culturally responsive environment while ensuring confidentiality, safety, and compliance with Illinois and federal regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Greet persons served, families, visitors, vendors, and community partners in a respectful, trauma-informed manner.
Provide a safe and welcoming environment for individuals experiencing mental health crises, housing instability, domestic violence, and/or developmental disabilities.
Provide general information regarding Crosspoint programs and eligibility requirements.
Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and follow agency safety protocols.
Monitor lobby area to ensure safety and appropriate conduct.
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls.
Schedule: Part-Time
Job Requirements:
Requires high school diploma or the equivalent.
Minimum of two years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience.
