We are looking for a Customer Success Lead to join our Operations Team.
The CPower Customer Success Lead will be responsible for the bidding/scheduling of resources in all markets in which CPower participates, with specific focus on the ISO New England and the New York ISO regions. In addition, they will be responsible for the quality control of the bidding while also running analysis to ensure our portfolio is being maximized.
Based on candidate location, our primary preference is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at our Baltimore, MD location three days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs). Our secondary preference is remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all daily, weekly, and monthly bidding/scheduling related activities in all markets in which CPower participates.
- Work as a customer’s trusted advisor providing support, guidance, and technical expertise on market participation within program guidelines.
- Perform analysis on bidding/scheduling to ensure portfolio maximization as well as after-the-fact performance and settlement estimations.
- Maintain compliance with all company and market policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams to form process improvements that optimize customer experience.
- Build, develop, and maintain bidding/scheduling processes and procedures.
- Ability or work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science or business administration.
- 4-6+ years of experience in Wholesale/Retail Energy with specific focus in the ISO New England and New York ISO markets.
- Ability to prioritize efficiently while multi-tasking, dealing with interruptions and working in a high paced energetic environment.
- Excellent computer skills with heavy proficiency in spreadsheet, database applications, and computer programming (PowerBI and VBA preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, with the ability to think and work independently.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Must be highly accurate and detail oriented.
