The Handler is responsible for screening cargo to identify threats using a trained explosive detection dog in compliance with TSA regulations. Duties include maintaining training records, providing care for the assigned canine, and performing physical and X-ray searches.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with 1-2 years of experience handling explosive detection dogs in operational environments. Requirements include the ability to obtain SIDA and STA badges, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
