Responsibilities
The Staff Nurse provides direct professional nursing care to pediatric patients throughout their entire episode of service in the operating room. They ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and state and federal regulations while collaborating with the healthcare team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a minimum of an ASN/ADN degree with a preference for a BSN, and possess at least 2 years of recent perioperative experience. Required certifications include a Connecticut RN license and BLS/CPR, with PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse, CCMC policies & procedures, Joint Commission, and State & federal regulations. Reports to Nurse Manager.
