Responsible for patient registration, scheduling, and admission functions within the Emergency Department. The role involves collecting accurate demographic information and managing patient financial liabilities and insurance verification.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 0-1 year of experience in customer service or medical administration. Candidates must possess basic PC skills, a typing speed of 35 wpm, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
JOB SUMMARY

Must obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information. Patient Access representatives also must employ proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during & after date of service.
