Purpose:

The individual is responsible for manual test cases and continuous integration against all Guardian products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create test plans and/or scripts to address business and technical use cases
  • Review requirements, user stories and technical design documents and provide timely feedback 
  • Ensure the traceability of functional test cases to system requirements
  • Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test the application
  • Discover novel ways to test performance, scalability and security using quality process and analysis
  • Work with the engineering team to help define the testing strategies and build appropriate test environments and test harnesses
  • Communicate progress with team members through test case reviews and daily meetings
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot identified bugs and provide documentation on resolutions and workarounds
  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures to meet ISO guidelines adopted by the company.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of virtualization/containerization environments, particularly VMWare and Proxmox. 
  • Proven experience developing test cases and test plans
  • Experience working with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence,)
  • Familiarity with testing on a Linux environment
  • Hands on experience testing enterprise applications using CICD pipelines
  • Experience with WireShark, SIPp or equivalent tools
  • Motivated, proactive, detailed orientated and a team player
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience with structured and exploratory testing methodologies is required
  • QA automation knowledge would be preferred but not necessary 
  • Understanding of scripting in one or more mainstream scripting languages (JAVA, Python) would be beneficial.

Education:

  • University degree in electrical, computer or computer engineering

Objectif :

  • Examinez les exigences, les témoignages d'utilisateurs et les documents de conception technique, et fournissez des commentaires en temps opportun 
  • Assurer la traçabilité des cas de test fonctionnels par rapport aux exigences du système
  • Analyser et décomposer un système logiciel complexe et concevoir une stratégie pour tester l'application
  • Découvrez de nouvelles façons de tester la performance, l'évolutivité et la sécurité en utilisant des processus et des analyses de qualité
