Lead day-to-day cleaning and accommodation services to ensure high hygiene and safety standards across site facilities. Coordinate staff rosters, manage reactive cleaning requirements, and oversee HSEQ compliance and reporting.
Requires proven experience in supervisory cleaning or facilities roles and the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance. Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and a Certificate IV in Cleaning Management is desired.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our Defence team at Townsville. This role is critical in leading day-to-day cleaning and accommodation services, ensuring high standards across site facilities while supporting a safe, compliant, and high-performing team environment.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering essential services within a fast-paced operational setting, working closely with site leadership and operational teams to maintain hygiene, safety, and service excellence.
Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and housekeeping services.
Manage scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements.
Develop and maintain staff rosters.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ and safety standards.
Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards.
Support laundry, linen, and accommodation services as required.
Provide excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Complete reporting, audits, and stock control activities.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning or facilities role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
High attention to detail and standards.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
