Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on plant and yard equipment to ensure a safe and productive environment. Responsibilities include fabricating parts, maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and commissioning new machinery.
Requires a 443A Millwright Licence, welding certifications, and at least four years of experience as a Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic. Candidates must possess a G license, own their tools, and be able to work independently.

Here’s what we do…
Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short!) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!
Here’s where you come in!
CMI is looking for a new employee to join our team. In this role you will perform direct troubleshooting maintenance work for repair, adjustment, adaptation, re-design, preventative maintenance and installation of all plant and yard equipment, machinery and infrastructure in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees. This position is performed outside in our recycling yards as well as indoors in our maintenance shop.
