The Corporate Strategy Manager supports the execution of corporate strategy and identifies growth opportunities through M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Candidates need 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy or development, specifically within the CPG or logistics industries. Proficiency in Korean and English is strongly preferred, along with strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Overview:
CJ Group operates across a broad portfolio of industries in the Americas including Food & Food Service, Biotechnology, Logistics & Retail, Entertainment (e.g., K-pop, Film/Drama Studio, Cinema, etc.), and Bakery.
As the Corporate Development arm of CJ Group’s Americas regional headquarters, the New York-based Corporate Development team plays a critical role in supporting the sustainable growth of CJ’s businesses in the U.S. and the broader Americas.
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Corporate Strategy Manager supports the execution of our corporate strategy, identifies and evaluates new business opportunities like M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, and helps foster synergies across our affiliates. This role works closely with our global and local leadership and requires strong communication skills to align with CJ’s headquarters in Korea and the Group's long-term strategic goals.

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in New York is $140K to $170K. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be subject to several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of the candidate's experience within the job; type and length of experience within the specific industry; educational background; and the location of employment. This salary range may not reflect the pay scale for employees who work in other states.
