WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Group Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and lifecycle management of Consumer & Small Business non-interest-bearing deposit products. This role owns the product strategy & roadmap and helps the Bank's business segments drive revenue growth and client satisfaction by delivering compelling value propositions, launching innovative products, and optimizing existing offerings while ensuring competitive pricing, regulatory compliance, and robust risk mitigation. This role actively engages sales leadership across the Bank to identify product gaps and needs, provide product performance metrics, and maximize product adoption and growth.

Drive innovation initiatives by exploring partnerships, technology enhancements, and client feedback to address unmet needs.
Monitor competitor and market developments to identify opportunities for impactful solutions.
Banker Adoption & Client Penetration: Track and share accountability with sales colleagues for the number of clients and volume of deposits in the product, as defined in annual business goals and new product business cases.
Profitability Management: Track and share accountability with sales colleagues for a product’s contribution to net income.
Client and Sales Colleague Research: Conduct primary research (interviews, surveys) to inform the product roadmap.
Competitive Intelligence: Conduct secondary research to understand what good looks like at other banks and fintechs in the market; track unmet market needs that can be met by the bank.
Partner Capability & Roadmap Intelligence: Meet regularly with vendors to understand current and new offerings available to the bank.
Fintech Landscape: Attend meetings with potential fintech partners whose solutions the bank is exploring.
Proactively identify and assess risks in product development, pricing, and client onboarding.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard CNB’s reputation, clients, and assets.
Escalate and manage control issues transparently, ensuring accountability across teams.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, reduce operational complexity, and enhance efficiency across deposit product workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to U.S. banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, BSA/AML) and CNB’s internal policies.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and implement corresponding product adjustments.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Service, Technology) and partners to drive product adoption and growth.
Supervise day-to-day product management activities, including client communication, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Mentor team members and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and results-driven execution.
