The Security Electronics Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of electronic security systems including locking, fire alarm, and CCTV systems. They must also manage work orders, maintain accurate records in the CMMS, and provide technical support to facility staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 4-6 years of experience in security electronics within commercial environments. Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills are required, along with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

A Brief Overview
CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Security Electronics Technician is responsible for all electronic systems and computerized controls for the facility, which include locking systems, fire alarm systems, intercom/public address system, closed circuit TV, nurse-call, and other security related systems. Employees in this position will be assigned to the Sussex State Prison in Waverly, VA.

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $27.98 to $35.81, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer.
