The associate conducts customer site inspections to identify and analyze assets for valuation reports. They apply costing techniques to value buildings, machinery, and land improvements while developing project management skills.
Candidates need an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time are required.
Assists project managers in conducting customer site inspections for asset identification and analysis purposes.
Makes initial judgment on specific assets inspected and determines if the asset should be included in the valuation report (buildings, machinery & equipment, land improvements, etc.)
Documents asset attributes for valuation and reporting purposes.
Applies direct, standard, and normal costing techniques with consistency and accuracy (valuation of subject assets.)
Develops project management skills (project preparation, prioritizing tasks, effective client communication, scheduling, monitoring productivity, making decisions, solving problems, completing all necessary tasks efficiently, client follow up, and appraiser feedback.)
An undergraduate degree, or in lieu, equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to accommodate the travel requirements.
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including air travel.
Ability to perform work comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
