The Senior HSE Manager will lead the Health, Safety, and Environment function to ensure strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management across the business. They are responsible for driving a high-performance safety culture, managing contractor performance, and providing expert guidance to the Executive Leadership Team.
Candidates must have extensive senior-level EHS experience and a strong understanding of risk management within a regulatory sector. Required qualifications include a BSc in Occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent, along with professional membership in IOSH.

📍 Location: Dublin or Cork Office | Hybrid working - 2 days per week in office
🕒 Full-Time – Permanent
This role will require limited travel within Ireland and the UK.
🔍 The Job
The Senior HSE Manager leads the Health, Safety and Environment function across Bord Gais and Centrica Retail operations in Ireland, providing strategic leadership, governance and assurance to ensure the effective management of operational risk, regulatory compliance and continual improvement. The role is accountable for driving a high-performance safety culture, influencing senior leaders, and ensuring that HSE considerations support safe growth, operational excellence and customer outcomes.
