Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) is a non-profit corporation partnering with the State of California Department of Developmental Services. CVRC provides case management and service coordination by identifying resources, programs and activities to refer individuals to in collaboration with other agencies to develop the best services for individuals served and their families. CVRC serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and children at risk to support and promote community inclusion. CVRC provides case management for individuals residing in the Central Valley, covering six counties that include Fresno, Tulare, Merced, Kings, Mariposa, and Madera.

Non-Exempt Full Time

Starting Pay: $24.99 – $29.84/hr.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for auditing scanning processes, document digitization, and quality control to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with documentation standards for the entire scanning department. Will serve as a liaison between the records department and IT to address document access needs, for audits and reviews, and is responsible for creating representative sample document sets. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with only intermittent supervision while supporting efficient business operations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conducts audits, reviews, and assessments of digitized client records to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Inspects scanned documents for legibility, completeness, correct indexing, and adherence to documentation standards. 
  • Identifies and reports trends, errors, or opportunities for process improvement. 
  • Assists in the development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Serves as a liaison between IT and records department regarding document access needs. 
  • Establishes sample sizes for audit or review purposes.
  • Assists in supporting and developing team members, as needed. 
  • Supports effective and efficient business practice.
  • Maintains positive business relationships, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or AA, and 1 year experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to operate office equipment. 
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate workload to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work in a detailed, organized manner. 
  • Ability to use computer applications, including, but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing, & email. 
  • Must demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, sound independent judgment, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication. 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • No travel required outside of office base.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Professional office environment. Noise level in the office is low to moderate depending on area. Individual workspace is assigned and varies from open cubicle to private office.
