Job Summary

Center City Print is looking for a motivated, personable, and organized sales representative to help grow our Kingston location.

This role is focused on building relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, contractors, restaurants, offices, and community groups throughout the Kingston and Luzerne County area. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, comfortable talking with people, and excited to help customers find the right print, sign, blueprint, mailing, and marketing solutions.

Print experience is helpful, but not required. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn our products, understand customer needs, follow up consistently, and help grow long-term accounts.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Kingston and Luzerne County market.
• Visit local businesses, offices, schools, nonprofits, restaurants, contractors, and organizations to introduce Center City Print’s services.
• Make outbound calls, send follow-up emails, and maintain regular contact with prospects and customers.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Help generate sales for printing, signs, banners, blueprints, direct mail, business cards, menus, forms, apparel, promotional items, and other print-related services.
• Follow up on quotes, open opportunities, and past customers.

Customer Account Support

• Meet with customers to understand their printing and marketing needs.
• Gather job details, including quantities, sizes, materials, deadlines, design needs, and delivery requirements.
• Work with the production team to make sure customer expectations are clear.
• Communicate order updates, timelines, and any needed clarifications.
• Help ensure customers have a positive experience from first contact through final delivery.

Estimating & Order Coordination

• Assist with preparing quotes and entering customer orders.
• Learn basic print terminology, materials, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with managers and production staff on pricing, timing, and job feasibility.
• Maintain organized notes on customer conversations, quotes, and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers, and customers.
• Self-motivated and willing to follow up consistently.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software.
• Prior sales, customer service, print, marketing, retail, or business development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the local Kingston/Wilkes-Barre/Luzerne County business community is a plus.
• Print experience is helpful, but not required.

Compensation

This position may include a base pay structure with performance-based bonus or commission opportunities. Compensation will be based on experience, sales ability, and overall fit.
