The Maintenance Mechanic performs daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. They also interface with building managers and support sub-contractors to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Candidates must be available to work weekends and be on call 24/7, with basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems. Applicants must also be able to lift 60 pounds, ascend 30-foot ladders, and pass a background check.
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform operations, repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to equipment within the facility, while acquiring skills and knowledge to complete the training required to obtain licenses. The hours for this position are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM - must be able to work only weekends, Washington, DC. Salary $22-$26 depending on qualifications and experience.
