The engineer is responsible for designing control and monitoring systems for various engine types and managing the product lifecycle of core components. They will also develop technical specifications, conduct system testing, and provide solutions for electrical issues on field engines.
Candidates must be graduated electrical engineers with professional experience in control and monitoring systems for medium-speed engines. Proficiency in ECM software development, system integration, and English and German language skills are required.

develop solutions for electrical issues or customer requirements on field engines including cost, quality and process capabilities
create technical descriptions specifications for PLC controls, followed by system testing and field trials for required or necessary system changes
independent development of replacement solutions for systems and components that are no longer available
responsible for constant product improvement
responsible for product lifecycle management of core components
support of the aftermarket business
close collaboration in global teams
graduated electrical engineer
professional experience in the field of Control & Monitoring for medium-speed gas, dual-fuel, and diesel engines, including development and design of hardware and software solutions for the engine safety system
good knowledge in the development and design of ECM engine control software, requirement specifications and software specifications, as well as the subsequent system test and validation
knowledge of system integration in power management systems in ships, power plants, and oil & gas applications
experience in product commissioning and customer service is necessary
open and effective communication is required, collaboration with suppliers is necessary, as well as a solution-oriented working method
ePLAN CAE tool basic knowledge
good English and German skills, both spoken and written
willingness to travel worldwide
