Core Objectives
Improve vehicle cycle time from acquisition through final delivery
Optimize logistics cost structure across transportation, storage, and hubs operations
Ensure consistent, audit-ready compliance with U.S. and international export regulations
Build a more scalable, process-driven supply chain organization
Scope of Responsibility
End-to-end oversight of vehicle movement: sourcing, processing, storage, and global distribution
Leadership of logistics, dispatch, and inventory coordination functions
Accountability for international trade compliance, including EAR, OFAC, and U.S. Customs requirements
Governance of VIN-level tracking, title processing, and export documentation integrity
Manage and build a network of third-party partners, including carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders
Operational Priorities
Drive reductions in vehicle cycle time and eliminate operational bottlenecks
Reduce per-unit logistics and handling costs
Standardize and scale operating procedures across locations
Strengthen visibility, tracking, and performance reporting
Systems & Process Enhancement
Optimize ERP (NetSuite preferred) to support VIN-level visibility and cost tracking
Introduce tools for real-time tracking, dispatch optimization, and documentation automation
Establish KPI-driven reporting across inventory, cycle time, and logistics performance
Improve data accuracy and reduce manual process dependency
Leadership Profile
Proven operator with the ability to balance strategic oversight and hands-on execution
Experience building structure, accountability, and performance discipline within teams
Strong cross-functional collaborator across operations, finance, and commercial teams
Track record of developing talent and strengthening leadership bench
Candidate Qualifications
10+ years of relevant supply chain and logistics experience (automotive preferred)
5+ years in leadership roles within high-volume, operational environments
Deep expertise in international trade compliance and export processes
Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience driving cost and efficiency improvements
ERP systems experience required (NetSuite strongly preferred)
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Relevant certifications (APICS, CES, or similar) are advantageous
