The Mechanical Technician will perform maintenance, service inspections, and fault analysis on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability. They will also manage contractors, oversee safety assessments, and assist in the procurement of emergency spares.
Candidates must hold an HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and possess significant experience in general engineering principles. A valid UK driving licence and an IOSH Managing Safely qualification are required, along with strong diagnostic and contract management skills.

This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
We are looking for a Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team based at the Port of Liverpool Combined Heat & Power site. Here at Cargills, we deliver a range of energy solutions, but at Port of Liverpool Combined Heat & Power (CHP) we supply steam to our sites at Brocklebank and Seaforth production and supply electricity to Peel Ports Dock users and the electrical grid system.
