The Maintenance Lead supervises maintenance personnel while actively performing maintenance and repair work. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and support maintenance technicians in daily operations.
Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Assign and prioritize work orders and maintenance tasks.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility-related issues.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.
Coordinate with operations and management to minimize equipment downtime.
Monitor contractor work and ensure quality standards are met.
Assist with purchasing parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
