Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and preferably two years of warehouse experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays, and possess basic computer skills.

Resumen del puesto:

Responsable de recibir, etiquetar y mantener el inventario minorista y el almacenamiento de las tiendas de la Compañía para garantizar que funcionen de manera eficiente y con el más alto nivel de servicio al cliente.  Mantener el almacén organizado y limpio.

Responsabilidades:
 
  • Recibir todos los envíos entrantes con precisión e introducirlos en el sistema Retail Pro (recuento de artículos, registro, inspección de daños externos).
  • Etiquetar y almacenar toda la mercancía entrante
  • Ayudar a garantizar que el inventario del almacén se rastrea y registra con precisión para que los pedidos de reposición se realicen de manera oportuna; esto se hace junto con el uso de los informes de Retail Pro.
  • Ayudar a garantizar una logística adecuada de las existencias de reposición.
  • Ayudar a garantizar que los productos sensibles al tiempo (p. ej., delicatessen y alimentos envasados) se roten a diario y se eliminen adecuadamente cuando alcancen su fecha de caducidad.
  • Ayudar al Supervisor de Retail y/o al Director de Retail a garantizar que todas las facturas y comprobantes se codifiquen y procesen a tiempo, cumpliendo los requisitos de la empresa en materia de cuentas a pagar.
  • Gestionar y mantener el almacén, asegurándose de que esté ordenado y organizado, y de que sea fácilmente accesible para el resto del personal.
  • Empaquetar y enviar puntualmente todos los envíos al por menor de acuerdo con las expectativas de la empresa.
  • Participar activamente en el programa medioambiental de la empresa, reduciendo, reutilizando y reciclando siempre que sea posible todos los materiales de embalaje.
  • Fomentar activamente un entorno de trabajo positivo centrado en el trabajo en equipo.
  • Mantener la confidencialidad relacionada con el trabajo
  • Ayudar a los vendedores minoristas cuando sea necesario.
Requisitos del puesto:
 
  • Debe responder bien a un entorno de trabajo cambiante
  • Conocimiento del sistema Retail Pro
  • Gran capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas
  • Debe tener conocimientos básicos de informática en Word y Excel
  • Debe ser capaz de trabajar en turnos de día, noche, fines de semana y festivos.
  • Debe ser capaz de trabajar de forma independiente con poca o ninguna supervisión
  • Debe ser capaz de levantar 25 libras con frecuencia y hasta 50 libras ocasionalmente y realizar tareas que impliquen agacharse, girar, levantar y ponerse en cuclillas con frecuencia.
  • Buena comunicación y habilidades interpersonales
  • La mayor parte del turno se pasará de pie, hasta 8 horas al día.
                                                                          
Conocimientos y experiencia:
 
Formación:       Bachillerato o equivalente
Experiencia:     Dos años de experiencia en almacén preferido
