BASIC FUNCTION

Assembles and joins, through welding all types of tank parts and components.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Team Supervisor

Supervises: No supervisor responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and understand blueprints and sketches (1st Class only).
Perform 100% penetration x-ray quality welds (1st Class only).
Layout work required for the fabrication of tank parts and components (1st Class only).
Material handling using overhead cranes, trucks, or forklift (1st or 2nd Class).
Buring of parts and components (1st or 2nd Class).
Fit-up and welding tasks of all tank part components (1st Class only).
General Housekeeping (1st of 2nd Class).
Performs other duties as assigned.
