Foreign Clearance Program Specialist

The Opportunity:

To effectively operate globally, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, our clients need a professional who will take the time to learn the complexities of their strategic deterrence and nuclear integration mission and provide them with tangible advice on process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.

That’s why we need you, an advisor who can learn how to analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As part of our team, you’ll create an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. You’ll learn to use discussions and workshops with stakeholders, analyst, and support staff to help identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll review the path forward—and the expected results—with your team lead and client.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience with processing and coordinating country clearance and theater clearance
• Knowledge of DoW foreign clearance procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of international travel reporting procedures
• Ability to use tools supporting data analysis and usable reporting such as Excel, Share Point, and database tools
• Ability to coordinate meetings, visits, and conferences
• Ability to function in a dynamic working environment
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, National Security Studies, Political Science, or Public Administration

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with HQ USAF, Joint Staff, or STRATCOM
• Knowledge of the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) policy and procedures
• Knowledge of the Department of War (DoW) Foreign Clearance Program (FCP)
• Knowledge of international treaties and agreements relevant to military operations
• Completion of Foreign Disclosure Officer training
• Completion of Antiterrorism Level II training
• OPSEC Level II Certification
• Completion of Defense Travel System (DTS) training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
