The Fraud Specialist is responsible for investigating and resolving potential fraud cases from start to finish within specified SLAs. They are also expected to identify fraud trends, suggest process improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to increase operational efficiency.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess 1-3 years of experience in fraud detection and investigation. Proficiency in Excel is required, while programming skills in SQL, Python, or R are considered a plus.
The Fraud Specialist investigates and resolves cases of potential fraud from start to finish. They must have great communication skills, the ability to work well on their own but also with others, possess strong decision making ability, and be able to meet or exceed KPI targets. They suggest process improvements to increase efficiency of processes and involve relevant internal stakeholders (e.g.Fraud analysts, Customer Service etc) when required.
