About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, high-impact Warehouse Operations Lead to take full ownership of our main warehouse—an essential hub supporting multiple network delivery and operations projects. This is a critical leadership role during a period of significant transformation and investment. You will be responsible for stabilising current operations, improving processes, and building a scalable, efficient warehouse operating model that supports both immediate delivery and long-term growth. What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Leadership
Own day-to-day warehouse performance, including inbound/outbound logistics, goods receipt, storage, dispatch, and returns
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all stock movements using approved systems
Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised warehouse aligned with Health & Safety regulations
Inventory & Control
Take full accountability for inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and audit readiness
Oversee cycle counts and support formal audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Ensure system data aligns with physical stock at all times
Stakeholder & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate materials and assets to support project delivery and operations
Manage logistics relationships with suppliers and transport partners
Act as the key operational interface between warehouse and internal stakeholders
Your Key Focus
Stabilise operations by resolving legacy inefficiencies and stock inaccuracies
Redesign and optimise warehouse layout to improve flow and utilisation
Implement structured processes, governance, and operating standards
Support introduction of new systems, equipment, and workflows
Build a scalable warehouse model that supports multiple projects and long-term contracts
Embed a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Expertise
Proven experience leading warehouse operations or activities (advanced level)
Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, and audit requirements
Experience with warehouse management or CMDB-style inventory systems
Track record supporting project-based or field engineering environments
Experience improving underperforming or immature warehouse operations
Hands-on involvement in warehouse redesign, process improvement, or transformation initiatives
Skills & Attributes
