The Database Administrator will design, configure, and maintain the bank's database environments to ensure high availability, integrity, and performance. They are responsible for managing database changes, backups, and disaster recovery protocols while collaborating with project teams on deployments.
Candidates must hold a National Diploma or BSc Degree in Information Technology and possess at least 2 years of experience in database administration. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, and ITIL frameworks is required for this role.
Design, Plan, Configure, Support, Secure and Maintain the availability, integrity and performance of the Bank’s databases environment.
Manage all database changes in all environments.
Ensure that the database environments are adequately backed up and replicated to ensure limited impact in the event of a failures and to ensure that we can achieve the Disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
