El propósito del rol es contribuir al cumplimiento de las metas de producción, seguridad, medioambiente y sustentabilidad en el Centro Remoto BHP CAS, mediante participación activa en la operación de salas de control y ejecución de tareas bajo supervisión directa. El cargo de Trainee está diseñado para desarrollar competencias técnicas y operativas que permitan asumir el rol de Especialista de Control, integrándose progresivamente a los procesos y sistemas que aseguran la continuidad operacional de los clientes.
Responsabilidades Principales:
• Participar activamente en la operación del Centro Remoto, ejecutando tareas y procedimientos estandarizados bajo supervisión para asegurar la continuidad operacional y el cumplimiento de metas de producción, seguridad, medioambiente y sustentabilidad.
• Operar progresivamente sistemas de control de procesos en mina y/o planta, aplicando conocimientos adquiridos para optimizar la cadena de valor y contribuir a la eficiencia operacional, alineado con los pilares del Modelo Operativo BHP.
• Ejecutar procedimientos estandarizados, con el objetivo de adquirir habilidades para contribuir a una operación segura, eficiente y sin daños a personas, equipos o el entorno
• Apoyar en el análisis de variabilidad operacional, participando en la identificación de causas raíz y en la propuesta de soluciones como parte del proceso de aprendizaje y mejora continua.
• Colaborar en la identificación de oportunidades de optimización, integrándose a iniciativas de mejora lideradas por el equipo, con el fin de desarrollar competencias que generen valor para la operación.
• Gestionar progresivamente la operación para asegurar el cumplimiento de los principales KPI del proceso, identificando la variabilidad del plan dentro del turno y contribuyendo a la estabilidad operacional
• Contribuir a reducir la variación del plan mediante la optimización del sistema, analizando causas raíz y generando acciones de mejora que aporten valor a la operación y fortalezcan la eficiencia del negocio.
• Desarrollar habilidades de trabajo en equipo, interactuando con pares, supervisores y stakeholders, siempre con foco en el cliente interno y externo y en la excelencia operacional.
Requisitos del Cargo:
• Título profesional de Ingeniería Civil en Minas, Mecánica, Industrial, Metalurgia, Química o carrera afín.
• Deseable manejo de herramientas de análisis de datos y software de monitoreo operacional.
• Deseable experiencia académica (memoria, práctica o tesis) y/o laboral en áreas de despacho, procesos mineros o similares.
• Alta capacidad de aprendizaje.
• Orientación a resultados y mejora continua.
• Trabajo en equipo y colaboración.
• Pensamiento analítico y resolución de problemas.
• Compromiso con la seguridad y sustentabilidad.
Tipo de jornada: Turno rotativo 7x7. día / noche
Lugar de trabajo: Santiago, con entrenamiento inicial en Santiago y/o faena
