Responsible for operating facility systems and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment. Ensures facility uptime and safety by conducting walkthroughs and complying with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requires a valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed technician. Must possess a Gasfitter II license (G I preferred) and a valid driver's license.

The HVAC Journeyperson has a minimum 5 years’ experience and holds a valid Certificate of Qualification issued by the province in which the work is performed. The incumbent is responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, routine services on facility mechanical and other systems for the assigned facility within the limits of company policy and trade certification. The HVAC Journeyperson is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, security and fire protection.

This is a regular, full-time position with an hourly range of $36.27 - $45.34. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
