Lead and coordinate daily field operations, including subcontractors, trades, field personnel, equipment, materials, and other project resources.
Monitor construction progress and productivity to ensure work remains aligned with project milestones, schedules, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with project management teams to forecast short- and long-term construction activities, manpower needs, equipment requirements, and material deliveries.
Review project drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure field teams understand the scope of work and execute it accurately.
Identify potential scope changes, out-of-scope work, schedule impacts, and cost concerns early and communicate them promptly to project management.
Take ownership of field cost control by monitoring labor productivity, resource utilization, timesheets, material quantities, storage, and waste.
Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, manpower tracking, production information, site photographs, and other required project records.
Communicate effectively with project management, other superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, trades, and client representatives to maintain alignment throughout project execution.
Lead grade control and layout verification efforts, coordinating with surveyors, engineers, and field teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Proactively identify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, quality concerns, and other jobsite challenges.
Perform routine inspections of work in place to verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations while minimizing rework.
Lead project closeout activities, including punch list development, inspections, client walkthroughs, documentation, and resolution of outstanding items.
Provide leadership, mentorship, training, and performance feedback to assistant superintendents, foremen, field engineers, and crew members.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
