Our mission is to build a community that is empowered, clean, safe and healthy. We are focused on multidisciplinary, community-informed support for our clients, addressing the root causes of unemployment and homelessness, and advocating for the basic human rights of food, health, economic and housing security.

  • Family transitional and supportive housing
  • Rapid rehousing and flex pool housing programs
  • Case management services at several homeless and housing programs
  • Bayview SAFE Navigation Center

These programs are funded through nearly 20 contracts with the City & County of San Francisco, and are monitored and regulated by several authorities, including CCSF and the State and Federal government.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for dispensing methadone daily to eligible controlled clients in the Bayview Substance Use Disorder Services. · Maintain accurate methadone dispensing logs, inventory counts, and all required records to ensure full accountability and regulatory compliance.

· Ensure secure safekeeping of all controlled medications, ensuring proper safe closure and strict chain-of-custody procedures at the end of each shift.

· Transport and deliver methadone to designated correctional facilities following secure transport protocols when assigned.

· Perform phlebotomy for routine, annual, and diagnostic laboratory testing.

· Conduct ECG/EKG testing, including correct lead placement, acquisition of tracings, and reporting abnormal findings to the healthcare provider.

· Obtain vital signs, complete health assessments, and accurately document clinical findings.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with infection-control standards.

· Demonstrate proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies and an electronic medical record (EMR) system.

· Work some weekends as scheduled.

· Strong skills in record keeping, documentation accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality.

· Must maintain strict confidentiality of all clinic-related information. This includes clinic location, operations, patient information, and staff information.

· Must consistently implement and adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality protocols.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Certified Phlebotomist (CPT-I or CPT-II) required due to clinical and laboratory responsibilities.

· Ability to work effectively with diverse, underserved, immigrants and minority communities.

· Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and ability to function as a proactive team member.

· Ability to work independently, while also seeking supervision and guidance when appropriate.

· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines

· Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure; receptive to change and cooperative in problem-solving situations.

Preferred Qualifications:
