Our Bark Phone, Bark Watch, Bark Home, and Bark app are enabling today’s parents to help keep their kids safe like never before — and we’re just getting started.

Bark is also deeply committed to education and community impact. Through our Bark Community Partners program, we work with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations to provide online safety resources, training, tools, and safer technology to families and educators.

We're looking for a highly motivated Marketing & Community Engagement Intern who wants hands-on experience across event marketing, public relations, content creation, analytics, executive support, and community engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Event Marketing Support

  • Event research and planning
  • Venue and vendor coordination
  • Logistics tracking and documentation
  • Event registration management
  • Material preparation and shipping
  • Volunteer and partner communications
  • On-site event support (most needed)
  • Post-event follow-up and reporting

Content Creation

  • Short-form video clips
  • Educational resources and handouts
  • Community engagement content

Video Editing

  • Podcast clips
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Instagram Reels
  • TikTok content
  • Event recap videos
  • Testimonial videos
  • Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools is preferred.

Public Relations Support

  • Media list building
  • Influencer research
  • Press coverage tracking
  • Research for interviews and media opportunities
  • Speaking opportunity research
  • Coverage reporting and analysis

Analytics & Reporting

  • Social media performance
  • Content engagement
  • Event metrics
  • Lead generation results
  • Media coverage performance
  • Community growth metrics
  • GEO/SEO learnings

Community Engagement

  • Resource development
  • Parent education initiatives
  • Partner outreach projects

Requirements:

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Interest in digital safety, youth culture, or mission-driven content
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Drive, Canva, or Asana is a plus
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and tools
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Experience using ChatGPT or AI tools productively
