Requires over 5 years of experience in hospitality operations leadership with strong knowledge of gaming and venue operations. Must possess or be able to obtain RSA, RCG, ARCG, and WWCC certifications.

About the Role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will support the delivery of seamless day-to-day operations across the venue, reporting to the Operations Manager. You’ll lead teams, drive performance, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience, safety, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service
  • Monitoring performance and driving productivity and cost improvements
  • Coordinating across departments to ensure aligned execution
  • Managing labour, rostering, and operational resources effectively
  • Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
  • Maintaining strong service standards and resolving customer issues proactively
  • Supporting workforce planning and team capability development
  • Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, and operational controls
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in hospitality operations leadership
  • Strong knowledge of gaming and venue operations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Solid commercial acumen across labour, costs, and performance
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
  • RSA, RCG, ARCG & WWCC (or ability to obtain)

We also place major emphasis on the ongoing training and development of our staff to ensure they have the practical skills needed to be the best employees they can be.
