The Deposit Account Review Specialist performs quality control reviews on new and existing deposit accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and operational accuracy. They also monitor fraud alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and support audit readiness across branch locations.
Candidates must have three to five years of banking experience, preferably in deposit operations or compliance. Proficiency in core banking systems, Salesforce, and Verafin is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Description
The Deposit Account Review Specialist is responsible for centralized quality control review of new deposit accounts, existing account maintenance activities, and fraud alert monitoring. This position ensures timely account review, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and consistent operational practices across all branch locations. The role serves as a key risk management function by identifying account opening and maintenance errors, monitoring correction timelines, reviewing fraud alerts through Verafin, and supporting audit readiness. This position strengthens internal controls, enhances customer experience through timely issue resolution, and promotes operational efficiency across the organization.

Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Equivalent banking experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
A minimum of three to five years of banking experience required, with experience in deposit operations, account opening, branch operations, compliance, fraud monitoring, audit support, or a related banking discipline preferred.
