Baker Barrios is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to support our architectural project teams. This position requires prior experience working in an Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) firm supporting Project Managers throughout the design and construction process.
This is not a general administrative position. We are looking for someone who understands architectural project workflows, construction administration, and project documentation.
Essential Responsibilities
Support Project Managers throughout all phases of projects.
Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and other construction administration documents.
Prepare project correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation.
Assist with AIA Owner and Consultant Agreements and consultant proposals.
Coordinate communications between clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Schedule meetings, maintain project files, coordinate travel, and support project logistics.
Assist with proposals and other project-related administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Project Administrator or Project Coordinator experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) firm.
Experience supporting multiple Project Managers.
Working knowledge of AIA contracts and construction administration documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Newforma, Bluebeam, or Deltek Ajera is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
