Ensure aircraft are maintained to high safety and regulatory standards through scheduled and corrective maintenance. Support flight-line operations and certify maintenance work while providing technical support to engineering teams.
Requires a recognized aircraft apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, along with a full UK driving licence. Candidates must have experience in a military or civilian Part 145 environment and be able to obtain security clearance.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and regulatory standards. Working alongside Licensed Aircraft Engineers, you’ll contribute to flight-line operations, maintenance activities, and engineering assurance, supporting critical aviation capability.
Day-to-day, you will:
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based on site at RAF Benson. Shift patterns for this role are 4 x 10-hour days.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) / Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance for this role.
