The coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, using approved protocols to route calls to clinical, billing, or scheduling staff. They are responsible for identifying urgent 'red flag' symptoms and accurately logging all interactions in the EHR system.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or call center environment. Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems is preferred.

We are looking for a hard-working, personable Phone Telephone Triage Coordinator. The Phone Telephone Triage Coordinatoris the first point of contact for patients calling with questions, concerns, or requests outside of routine scheduling. This role uses established, physician-approved decision protocols to sort and route calls to the appropriate destination — clinical staff, scheduling, billing, or urgent escalation — ensuring patients reach the right person quickly and nothing falls through the cracks. This is not a clinical assessment role; the coordinator does not diagnose or give medical advice, but follows scripted protocols to flag urgency and route accordingly.
This is a part-time role. The required days and hours are:
Monday 9a-5p
Tuesday 9a - 5p
Friday 8:30a - 4:30p
