The Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical production equipment. They are also responsible for documenting work orders in the CMMS and collaborating with engineering to improve equipment safety and uptime.
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial electrical-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. A high school diploma is required, with preference given to those with vocational training or trade certifications.

JOB SUMMARY: The Zildjian Company is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-years’ experience in industrial electrical-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. This position includes maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and machinery, including occasional fabrication to support equipment repairs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:
CERTIFICATES, and/or LICENSES: Trade school or a specific credential preferred in an area of expertise such as programmable controllers, welding, electrical, mechanical is preferred. Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications. Trade school or a specific credential preferred in an area of expertise (Programmable controllers, welding, electrical, mechanical).
REASONING ABILITY: Mental and visual reasoning needed. Concentration required for intense and complex work. Good judgment needed. Strong evidence of mechanical aptitude and critical thinking
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to understand and share complex equipment issues and troubleshooting.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS and/or PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Specific to the assigned area or work area needed. Physical - continuous standing and moving needed. Frequent lifting, stretching, pushing, pulling, or carrying needed in job. Ability to lift 50-pounds. Solid working knowledge of computers. Ability to work inside and outside during hot and cold temperatures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (If Applicable): This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
