Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory record. The role requires physical capability to climb ladders up to 15 feet, lift up to 50lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

This is an entry-level position, but there is no need to stop there; within Autoport, there is ample opportunity for growth, with tenured employees of 20+ years.
In this position, you will be unloading vehicles to transport by truck, or train. Our diverse team works together to productively meet deadlines, solve problems, and carefully drive vehicles off of railcars for consignment. This role will also require climbing up and down railcar ladders, opening and closing railcar doors, placing and removing chocks that secure vehicles for shipment, and the ability to be able to climb in and out of vehicles repeatedly.
This role involves physical labour and requires employees to work outdoors year-round. If you thrive off the high of a “good day’s work” and are comfortable in a physically demanding environment, this position may be for you.
