The Utility Operator prepares materials for the melting process by cutting, grinding, and welding materials to specific requirements. They also support the setup and teardown of furnaces and crucibles while operating heavy machinery.
Candidates must be able to safely operate industrial equipment, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma and at least one year of manufacturing experience are preferred.

The Utility Operator plays a critical role in the remelt department by preparing materials for the melting process. This position involves operating various equipment to cut, grind, and weld materials to required specifications, as well as supporting furnace and crucible setup and teardown activities. The role requires adherence to safety standards, physical endurance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
