Build the go-to-market engine from scratch, focusing on ICP segmentation, positioning, and demand generation for a B2B SaaS Newsroom OS. Own the entire acquisition funnel from lead generation to closing deals and establishing a PLG motion.

Introduction
We are hiring a Head of Marketing & Growth for a B2B SaaS product in the media and publishing space.
ICP: Publisher-Editors running 10–20 person newsrooms on WordPress.
Focus: GTM strategy, demand generation, product marketing, and pipeline creation in an early-stage B2B SaaS environment.
Our core differentiator: no CMS migration, no vendor lock-in, we sit in front of the CMS the publisher already has.
Newsrooms are drowning in fragmented tools, outdated workflows, and editorial burnout. We have built the antidote: a Newsroom OS. It’s an editorial experience layer that sits on top of any existing infrastructure (starting with WordPress) and gives journalists a fast, focused, joyful writing environment.
Joynalist is a B2B SaaS startup incubated by Atex. We have a validated product, a defined ICP, a reference customer programme already live, and a clear GTM thesis. What we do not yet have is a go-to-market engine. This is a first marketing hire / zero-to-one role. You will build the GTM strategy, positioning, demand generation, and sales pipeline from scratch.
Joining at this stage means joining as a co-founder: you will carry that title, shape the company’s direction from day one, and hold meaningful equity in what you help build. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage an existing growth function or hand work off to an agency. You will be writing the first cold email, building the first landing page, and closing the first deals yourself.
Responsibilities
As our Head of Marketing & Growth, you are the first and sole owner of everything that touches acquisition, pipeline, brand, and retention. This is a hands-on, zero-to-one role; you’ll be building the machine, not managing one.
