Job Overview:
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a dependable truck driver at Associated Scaffolding. You'll find yourself making deliveries and retrievals to or from commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites. When not making deliveries, you'll work in the warehouse, counting, organizing, and repairing our equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver and pick up construction access equipment at construction job sites professionally and safely.
Count all material and documents on the applicable forms correctly, including all shortages, damages, or any other material discrepancies.
Complete and record pre-trip inspections according to ASC guidelines and procedures.
Drivers will be required to load and unload material from the truck without assistance or the use of a forklift/lull.
Obtain all necessary signatures and give all the required copies, including safety instructions, to the person signing the paperwork.
When not driving, primary duties include working in the warehouse, inspecting, reconditioning, loading, and unloading scaffold equipment from trucks.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 21 years of age.
Possess a current driver's license with a good driving record (no more than 2 incidents in the last 3 years and no DWI or Careless/reckless driving charges in 5 years).
Possess or able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Diligent attention and knowledge of safety.
ASC has one of the best safety ratings in the construction and scaffold industry. Safety is our top priority!
Good oral and written communication skills in the English language.
The ability to move, lift, or leverage up to 70 lbs
The ability to safely transport co-workers and scaffold equipment to the desired location.
Working Conditions:
The employee will spend periods of time in an outdoor work setting.
The employee will spend periods of time counting and restocking items in the warehouse and yard.
Requires periods of time unloading and loading trucks.
