The Business Analyst will map 'as is' and 'to be' business processes and support the implementation and testing of new systems. Key duties include gathering stakeholder requirements, creating process maps, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.
Requires a degree or equivalent professional qualification and at least two years of experience in a business analysis role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in business analysis tools, stakeholder engagement, and the development of UAT scripts.

Every day, our national education and research network supports more than 1.3 million students and researchers and over 175,000 staff across Ireland’s schools, ETBs and higher education institutions – more than 1.5 million people in total. In addition, we provide mission-critical management information systems to over 140,000 students and 20,000 staff across Ireland’s universities, technological universities, institutes of technology and colleges.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Analyst to join our Schools team on a fixed term contract basis until December 2027.
This role is based at our Dublin 1 office; however, we are pleased to offer a flexible working arrangement via our Work-Life Balance Framework. This allows you to work from home up to three (3) days a week. You will be expected to work at least two (2) days a week in the office, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a balanced and dynamic work environment.
What the School Team does
We provide all of Ireland’s primary and post-primary schools (approx. 3,900 schools) with high-availability internet and network security services for more than 900,000 teachers and students.
Along with connectivity, the Schools team provide a range of essential services to both primary and post-primary schools, including Internet Content-Filtering, IP address allocation & Firewall Services. These essential services make the Asiera Schools Network one of the largest proactively managed networks in the country.
What the Business Analyst does
Reporting to the Schools Programme Manager, the Business Analyst will work as a key member of a project team and will play a significant role in achieving the objectives and activities of the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mapping and documenting ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ business processes, upgrading existing systems and implementing and testing new systems.
