The Behavioral Health Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and provides direct patient care and therapeutic interventions. They are also responsible for establishing therapeutic relationships with assigned patients within the chemical dependency department.
Candidates must have a high school diploma with 2 years of experience, an associate's degree, or 4 years of relevant experience. A BLS provider certification is required within 30 days of hire, and crisis prevention or nurse aide credentials are preferred.
