The Digital Writer creates clear, compelling digital content that puts the needs, motivations and benefits for our audiences first — empowering people to take action, stay engaged and feel supported at every touchpoint with the Arthritis Foundation. This role specializes in high-performing, primarily short-form content across the Foundation’s digital ecosystem, including website content (mobile and desktop) and email, and potentially, as appropriate, social media, SMS and emerging digital platforms. The Digital Writer excels at translating complex health information into concise, human-centered, action-oriented copy that is easy to scan, easy to understand and designed to drive meaningful engagement, conversions and audience growth. Grounded in current digital writing trends and best practices, the Digital Writer brings strong, evolving expertise in search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO) and other performance-driven content development, with a focus on maximizing visibility and reach. The Digital Writer continuously monitors trends, applies data-informed insights and refines content to meet or exceed performance goals. While the primary focus is digital, this role also applies strong storytelling and creative writing expertise across additional formats as needed, including print materials, ads, scripts and other communications. Working collaboratively across the Marketing & Communications team and with internal and external stakeholders, the Digital Writer helps ensure that all content aligns with the Foundation’s brand voice, strategic priorities and audience needs — delivering clear, impactful messaging in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. |
