Lead and direct the development of water and wastewater treatment projects in the Southeast area, overseeing quality assurance and technical delivery. The role involves mentoring staff, supporting marketing proposals, and strategically growing client relationships to expand the regional portfolio.
Requires a minimum of 20 years of water/wastewater experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Preferred candidates have over 25 years of experience, a Master's degree, and DBIA certification.

Arcadis is searching for a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to join our Resilience-Water Business Area to lead and direct the development of water and wastewater treatment projects in our Southeast area.
The Regional Practice Leader will work with other nationally recognized technical staff and will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge of Water/Wastewater design & construction. This is a ‘hands-on’ role with an expectation to collaborate with various Arcadis locations and support projects and client development activities nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have team leadership experience, including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring team members. They should possess technical expertise and experience with water and wastewater treatment projects. Strong client management skills are essential, particularly in the preparation and development of proposals and interviews. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with strong relationship management abilities.
Preferred qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have over 25 years of experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects at a comparable engineering firm. A Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of and experience working with local clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and/or Alabama. Active participation in regional or national professional associations is preferred, as well as prior experience in a regional role with a proven ability to collaborate across regional teams. Experience in progressive design build delivery and DBIA certification would be desirable.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000/year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
