The Medical Assistant supports providers during patient visits and surgical procedures, including preparing patients and maintaining sterile environments. They are also responsible for managing patient records in the EMR system and handling administrative tasks like prescriptions and callbacks.
Candidates should ideally hold an MA certification, CST license, or LPN, with a preference for dermatology or surgical experience. Hands-on clinical experience is desired, though the practice is willing to train the right candidate.

We are a full-service dermatology practice specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. With two fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons on staff, we offer on-site diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers at our Skin Cancer Surgery Center.
The ideal Surgical Medical Assistant candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and can multitask. The MA is responsible for assisting the Provider with patient visits, including consultative and surgical procedures.
