Dynamic technical leader with 15-20+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for Linear mechanism understanding, System Design from conceptual to production, NPI Programs, Pneumatics to Vacuum, to Water Cooling for System, Platform enclosures, system packaging. Proven ability to drive complex programs, mentor teams, and deliver cost-effective, serviceable designs integrating mechanical, thermal, and electrical requirements. Adept at collaborating across functions to ensure manufacturability and supply chain efficiency.
Completes definition and design of complex mechanical components, modules, and sub-systems.
Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
Ensures designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS). Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements.
Contributes to the system engineering specification both within the field of one's expertise and broadening into other disciplines.
Conducts detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements pertaining to field of technical expertise and broadening into other disciplines.
Assists in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach.
Build and qualify prototypes of new designs or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications.
Identifies problems and troubleshoots a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
Supports system integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs. Performs and coordinates tests as per internal as well as industry-accepted reliability specifications. Make suitable design or operational changes as required.
Supports system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
Technically leads and/or executes engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
Drive successful completion of tool safety standards (SEMI S2/S8/S14, NFPA 79, F47, CE, EMI/EMC) working with 3rd party evaluators.
Prepare summary reports for internal and external audiences, present findings, data, and conclusions to technical experts.
Provides remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.
