The Assistant Manager will lead packaging procurement activities, serving as a liaison between R&D, engineering, and external suppliers to support new product launches. They are responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Candidates must possess a graduate or postgraduate degree in science, commerce, or business administration with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Strong project management skills, knowledge of GMP, and proficiency in ERP systems are required for this role.

This dual-role position combines category management with strategic business partnering responsibilities to support Apotex’s procurement objectives with a dedicated focus on Apotex R&D Packaging and ARPL Packaging category
The Procurement Specialist – will serve as the primary liaison between Internal Research & Development (R&D), launch team, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and external suppliers, supporting the development of innovative packaging devices, new product launch and post submission requirement. This role is also responsible for leveraging commercial buying power and supplier relationship owned by procurement to ensure maximize the negotiation power and achieve the targeted completion date.
